Smoothie Sundays: Mango, Strawberry, and Banana

This week’s smoothie Sundays’: mango, strawberry, and banana were made up by me thanks to the ingredients that were laying around in my kitchen. Check out my previous smoothie Sunday post here.

Inspiration

For this week’s smoothie, I wanted to use up the rest of the Trader Joe’s frozen mangos I had as well as a frozen banana that I had put in the freezer in the night before. On Saturday I bought these amazing strawberries from a fruit stand outside of Gilroy. To thicken up the smoothie, I added in some Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Greek Nonfat yogurt, the mixed berry version.

After adding all of these ingredients into the blender I then poured in a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Then blended this for about 45 seconds and I was all set with a delicious, creamy smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1& 1/2 cups of Trader Joe’s frozen mango chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 6 medium-sized strawberries; they can either be frozen or from the fridge
  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Mix it up!

After adding all of these ingredients into the blender I then poured in a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, blended this for about 45 seconds and I was all set with a delicious, creamy smoothie.
